About the book:
Veronica Chance’s sister has gone missing. In order to find Valerie, “Roni” takes a waitressing job at Foxxes Gentlemen’s Club, the last place her sister worked, to search for clues. First day on the job, the club owner makes her give a lap dance to his VIP guest, Mr. Storm. Veronica’s instant attraction to him spells trouble and threatens to blow her cover.
Former detective Mason Storm can’t deny the connection he feels for the wild and mysterious Roni. During the lap dance, he learns about her missing sister, offers his help, only to be rejected. Not ready to give up, he confronts her again, adding in the fact he’s see her sister in the club, but she denies him once more.
When Veronica calls, acting rather strangely, Storm finds her at the club, drugged and giving a lap dance to a kid at an illegal after party. Grateful for the help, Veronica comes clean about who she is, and accepts Storm’s offer to help. Together, they unravel the clues surrounding Valerie’s disappearance, uncover the horrible truth behind the illegal after parties, all the while exploring and succumbing to their lustful desires for each other.
My Review:
I want to thank the author, Jenn Nixon, for allowing me to read and review her romantic suspense novella. I always enjoy romance, suspense, and especially mystery type of stories. I love trying to figure out the why of a book.
Wild & Wicked follows Veronica Chance and Mason Storm. Veronica comes from a prominent family and Mason is a former Police Detective. Veronica’s sister Valerie vanished about a week ago which forces Veronica to find her. She starts at her sister’s last place of employment at a strip club. Veronica gets a job as a waitress as a way to slip undercover. That’s when Mason spots her and wants to help her find Valerie.
Wild & Wicked was just that -- wild and wicked. This short novella was full of passion, secrets, excitement, and adventure. Going undercover means pretending to be someone you normally wouldn’t be. It can be exciting but dangerous at times. Even though you are undercover, you must trust your instincts.
Wild & Wicked kept me engaged until the end. I loved going on the adventure with Mason and Veronica while they were undercover. They also took the opportunity to explore each other intimately.
If you are looking for a passionate and flirty story, you’ll want to read Wild & Wicked. This book explores a fantasy type sexual world. Playing dress up in the real world is not your every day lifestyle. Relax a little and explore your imagination with Wild & Wicked.
