Review of The Blood Moon of Winter by Courtney Conant

The Blood Moon of Winter is the debut of Courtney Conant and it is a fantastic story. The character of Lily was very quirky which made her easy to like and relate to. The way Courtney Conant wrote Lily's life when she was awake and when she was in Makayra was done perfectly by the use of words that made it possible for me to picture everything that was happening. Another thing that I liked about The Blood Moon of Winter was how Courtney Conant built up the relationship between Lily and Jason rather than have them fall in love instantly. My favorite part of the story was Sarwanell because I thought the idea of a talking panther was genius.
